1977-81: Diploma in painting from the Accademia Belle Arti of Venice, with Emilio Vedova. He teaches as visiting professor at the University of Banja Luka (BIH) and in his own private school Laboratorio Cervi Kervischer in Trieste.

1977-81: Diploma in painting from the Accademia Belle Arti of Venice, with Emilio Vedova. He teaches as visiting professor at the University of Banja Luka (BIH) and in his own private school Laboratorio Cervi Kervischer in Trieste.
Furthermore, he is a jazz and folk musician, a sax player, performing with several bands. His passion for travelling and knowing has brought him in several countries, such as Germany, France and Thailand, to widen his experience and cultural background.
Cervi’s diverse portfolio of works includes design of the first Illy ceramic collection in 1992 and Illy Collection Basket Playground 1997. Since 1991, he has produced a series of life portraits of contemporary Italian poets (selected and published in 1994, in Spanish and English, by the review Equívalencías of Madrid). He has also written the book Taccuino di viaggio. Ritratti di poeti (1989-2002), Il Ramo D’Oro, Trieste 2002.
Cervi has held many personal and collective expositions in and beyond Europe.
